NEW YORK CITY-Belstaff USA has signed on for 17,505 square feet of space at 681 Fifth Ave. The building is owned by Metropole Realty Advisors, which is represented by a team from Cushman & Wakefield in its leasing efforts.

Belstaff USA, is a luxury retailer and a subsidiary of Swiss brand Labelux. It will occupy three floors at 681 Fifth Ave. for its showroom and US headquarters--the entire 8th, 9th and 10 floors.  

The Cushman & Wakefield team representing the building owner consisted of Bruce Mosler, chairman of Global Brokerage; Arthur Mirante, president of Global Business Development; and Cynthia Foster, Mark Mandell, Ethan Silverstein and Ashlea Aaron.

Mosler welcomed the retailer to the building, calling it “the perfect fit” in a prepared statement, while Belstaff CEO Harry Slatkin said that the building “exudes the warmth and exclusivity of a personal residence.”

681 Fifth Ave. was designed by architects McKim, Meade & White and was the original home of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
