NEW YORK CITY-SL Green Realty Corp. has inked 318,000 square feet of leases, across three of the company’s buildings. The leases--for Bloomingdales, Beth Israel Medical Center and HealthFirst--represent a nod toward the strength of healthcare and Manhattan’s retail.

New York City healthcare jobs have steadily increased over the past decade, according to data from the New York State Department of Labor. And CBRE reported Monday at an inaugural retail-focused quarterly breakfast that retail was showing no signs of letting down, either.

These three SL Green lease transactions include 95,271 square feet of expansions among the two industries.
