CHICAGO-Marc Imrem and Andrew Watson, two triple-net-lease property brokers, have left Baum Realty Group for Transwestern’s Midwest office. The two will grow Transwestern’s national net lease and sale-leaseback specialty services.

According to a Transwestern statement, the team will continue to represent major institutional and private clients. While at locally based Baum, the pair’s clients included General Electric, Inland Real Estate and Mesirow Financial, including assisting lenders with the turnaround of troubled assets. Imrem also represented family trust clients, such as the $8 million sale of a 50,000-square-foot Jewel-Osco on Broadway in Edgewater, IL for a family trust earlier this year. A Baum spokesman did not return a request for comment for this story.

Imrem said in a statement that he’s been involved in more than 175 transactions in his 10 years in commercial real estate, valued at more than $600 million. Watson said he’s handled 150 transactions in his 11-year career, valued at more than $650 million.
