NEW ROCHELLE, NY-WestMed Medical Group is expanding, with a 28,000-square-foot lease signed for state-of-the-art medical office space in New Rochelle. CBRE senior vice president Frank Tomasulo represented the tenant, while CBRE executive vice president William V. Cuddy, Jr. and vice president Budd Wiesenberg represented the owner of 171 Huguenot Ave., Silwis, LLC.
According to Wiesenberg, ownership at the building “seized the opportunity to convert its traditional office building to a high-quality, modern medical facility” for the tenant, which plans to move into the building in early 2012.
“In choosing 171 Hugenot Ave., WestMed, one of Westchester County’s fastest growing entities, is making a significant investment in New Rochelle that will serve the surrounding community for years to come,” Tomasulo said in a prepared statement.
WestMed, based in Purchase, NY, is a large multi-specialty group medical practice, staffed by over 200 physicians. The New Rochelle location will add to its list of 14 medical practices across Westchester County.
