MIAMI-A strong Latin America economy is benefiting Miami once again. The Consulate General of Mexico is taking down three floors at 1399 SW 1st Avenue.

The Consulate is relocating its South Florida office to the Brickell Financial District in a 23,000-square-foot deal at the 34,935-square-foot office building. Financial terms of the 10-year lease were not disclosed.

Danet Linares and David Valdez of Blanca Commercial Real Estate represented landlord, Chestnut Capital in the transaction. Andrew Trench of Holly Sime Realty (who is currently working with Taylor and Mathis) represented the Consulate General of Mexico. Only one floor remains leasable at 1399 SW 1st Avenue. The second floor spans 7,000 square feet.
