LOS ANGELES-Even in these times of continued cutbacks, commercial real estate firms are spending money on energy efficiency to defray future costs, said Kelly Smith, a program manager at Johnson Controls. He spoke here at the ULI fall meeting with GlobeSt,com's Bob Howard.
