Volkswagen To Lease Goodman Facility

HANOVER, GERMANY-The new 485,000-square-foot logistics center will help the automaker build the new Amarok four-door pick-up truck.

HANOVER, GERMANY-Volkswagen has agreed to occupy a 485,000-square-foot facility to provide supply and logistics for the Amarok four-door pick-up truck production. The Sydney-based Goodman Group is building the site.

Goodman acquired almost one million square feet in the Black Heath commercial area of Hanover, near the existing Volkswagen production facility. The new facility will have undercover storage areas, warehouse and refrigerated storage areas. The first part of the property will be handed over by January, Goodman said in a statement.
