With all of the talk about online shopping and stores being open on Thanksgiving and the death of Black Friday as we know it, a recent Deloitte holiday shopping survey finds that people are still going to be showing up at the stores after all.

In the firm's poll of 1,000 consumers, 51% plan to shop in stores over the Thanksgiving weekend, with 66% of those hitting locations on Black Friday. Only 17% will make a trip to retailers open on Thanksgiving.

But when the clock strikes midnight on turkey day, it looks like a pretty good amount shoppers are going to be ready to hit the stores. Of those hitting it on Black Friday, 23% plan to be there when the clock strikes 12:00.
