Mixed-Use Opens on San Francisco's Third Street Corridor

SAN FRANCISCO-The 137-unit complex demonstrates power of transit to revitalize areas.

SAN FRANCISCO-A condominium community known as 5800 Third at Carroll Station has opened on this formerly neglected Third Street corridor. The project is one of many recent housing developments that have opened in recent months due to the new transit accessibility of the area.

The location on Third Street is the “heart of the corridor connecting Mission Bay to Candlestick Point,” according to developer Kevin Brown, principal of Holliday Development. The T-Line commuter transit line provides access to both the Mission Bay and downtown.
