ROCKAWAY, NJ-Tech services provider Activu Corp. will relocate its headquarters from Denville, NJ, to the former Edy’s Ice Cream distribution facility at 301 Roundhill Dr. here, says Cushman & Wakefield, which represented the landlord.

Activu will take 24,000 square feet at the 50,000-square-foot flex facility, which also is home to the headquarters of Mackenzie Keck Construction LLC, the building owner as Roundhill Realty LLC. Roundhill retained C&W to market the property.

“My client wanted to test the market, and the market response was positive from potential tenants looking to lease and purchase,” says Robert Donnelly Jr., of C&W’s Morristown office, in a statement. “Activu, which was looking to upgrade their work environment, really ‘got’ the vision behind the building design. It is an all-around good fit.”

Roundhill Realty purchased the building in 2007 and renovated and repurposed the structure with a combination of office, manufacturing and warehouse space. Approximately 26,000 square feet is still available.

Ken Flynn of Jones Lang LaSalle represented Activu in negotiating the long-term lease. Rents were not disclosed, but asking rates in the area range from $6 per square foot to $24.50 per square foot, according to LoopNet.
