NEW YORK CITY-Flex workplace provider Regus has signed for 52,274 square feet of space at 112 W. 34th Street, one of the W&H Properties buildings supervised by Malkin Holdings.

The company is moving from 11 Penn Plaza and will occupy new space on the 17th and 18th floors of the building by the second quarter of 2012. The building recently underwent an $80 million capital improvement program that included enhancements to the lobby, entrances, restrooms and the building’s systems.

Anthony Malkin, president of Malkin Holdings, said in a prepared statement that the Regus lease “reflects the remarkable success of our conversion of 112 W. 34th St. to a corporate, Penn Plaza address.” Indeed, at 26 stories, the location contains more than 750,000 square feet of office space, with several multi-floor blocks of over 52,000 square feet currently available.
