NEW YORK CITY-The Downtown Brooklyn Partnership has tapped Tucker Reed to be its next president. COO Michael Burke has been serving as interim president since inaugural president Joe Chan departed earlier this year.

Reed comes to the DBP from Two Trees Management Corp., where he is currently the director of Special Projects. His past work includes posts as the executive director of the DUMBO Improvement District and as chief of staff of the Baghdad Provincial Reconstruction Team in Iraq.

"I could not be more excited to be joining the Partnership and helping to support the creative forces that will shape the future of the borough."
