SAN DIEGO-Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial was selected by Newport National Corp. to manage the company’s approximate 700,000-square-foot office portfolio in North County. The portfolio is comprised of nine buildings in five projects, including: the Campus, Ventana Real, Civic View Corporate Centre, Emerald Lake Corporate Centre and Nordahl Medical Centre.

Paul Klink, Cassidy Turley’s managing director and principal of property management for the southwestern US says that “With the addition of Newport National’s properties to our management portfolio, we now manage more than 2.4 million square feet in San Diego County. We look forward to further expanding our property management service in 2012 and beyond.”

Jeffry Brusseau, senior vice president of Newport National, says in a prepared statement that “Cassidy Turley’s team of experienced property managers combined with the company’s national platform and systems should prove to be a significant improvement for the portfolio. We believe Cassidy Turley will provide outstanding service to our tenants, our partners and Newport National Corporation.”

The Campus is located at 5962, 5964 and 5966 La Place Court and is situated within the Carlsbad Research Center adjacent to McClellan-Palomar Airport. The project totals approximately 163,070 square feet in three buildings.

Civic View Corporate Centre is an approximate 95,446-square-foot, four-story, class A office building located at 300 Rancheros Dr. along State Route 78, just east of Twin Oaks Valley Rd. in San Marcos.

Ventana Real is a three-building, class A office project located at 2173, 2175 and 2177 Salk Avenue in Carlsbad. The project totals approximately 220,034 square feet, with two three-story buildings and one two-story building. The property is situated on three legal lots totaling more than 13 acres of land facing El Camino Real between Faraday Avenue and College Boulevard.

Emerald Lake Corporate Centre is an approximate 83,893-square-foot, class A office building located at 1525 Faraday Avenue in Carlsbad. It is situated at the northwest entrance of the prestigious Carlsbad Research Center.

Nordahl Medical Centre is an approximate 57,208-square-foot, three-story, class A medical/office condominium building. The property is located at 838 Nordahl Rd. in San Marcos just one mile east of the new Palomar Pomerado Hospital.
