MIAMI—Brand new class A office buildings aren’t getting all the action in Miami’s urban core. Brickell Bayview Centre, a 33-story class B office building, just won a tech-focused public relations firm to its ranks. Max Borges Agency is taking up residence on a full floor of the 285,959-square-foot building.

Douglas Okun, vice president of Continental Real Estate Cos., represented the landlord, Colony Realty Partners, in the transaction. Ryan Levy and Jon Bourbeau of Newmark Knight Frank represented Max Borges. The PR firm will occupy 16,200 square feet on a 10-year deal in the Brickell Financial District. Although financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, the class B building does not carry the steep price tag of its recently-introduced class A counterparts.

“For the tenant, Max Borges Agency, the accessibility to major roadways, public transportation and public parking was an important factor when signing their lease at Brickell Bayview Centre,” Okun tells GlobeSt.com. “Also, the office building’s location literally next door to Mary Brickell Village, which houses a Publix supermarket, restaurants, stores and a gym, was a big plus. It allows the tenant to provide its 60-plus employees with top-notch amenities within walking distance.”
