EDISON, NJ-Medical services continue to dominate corporate leasing in New Jersey, as shown by the 357,055 square feet Mack-Cali Realty Corp. leased at its office and office/flex properties in the northern and central portions of the state.

Among the pharmaceutical/medical leases transacted in the quarter were: One Call Medical, a provider of specialty services to insurance payers, renewing 57,243 square feet at 20 Waterview Boulevard in Parsippany; specialty pharmaceutical company Tercica signing a new 32,552-square-foot lease at Liberty Corner Corporate Center in Bernards Township; and QualCare Alliance Networks, a managed care organization, singing for 19,238 square feet at 30 Knightsbridge Road in Piscataway.

These transactions clearly demonstrate that,” says Mack-Cali president and CEO Mitchell E. Hersh in the announcement.

Linda Dow, Craig Eisenhardt, and Rob Martin, all of Jones Lang LaSalle, represented One Call Medical. Tercica was represented by Charles Parmelli of Cassidy Turley. Brad Fenlon of CBRE represented QualCare.

Other leases outside the medical arena include: MFXchange renewing 20,217 square feet at 412 Mt. Kemble Avenue in Morris Township; technology/aerospace company Thales USA renewing its 18,726 square feet at 40 Commerce Way in Totowa; Law firm McManimon & Scotland, LLC signing a new 17,931-square-foot lease at 75 Livingston Avenue at 280 Corporate Center, in Roseland; and JPMorgan Chase Bank renewing 17,814 square feet at 300 Tice Boulevard at Woodclife Lake.
