Wells Fargo Taps New EVP for NYC Hospitality Division

NEW YORK CITY-Mark Lanspa has been selected for the bank’s new Hospitality Finance Group, where he will focus on hotel investments throughout the metropolitan area.

NEW YORK CITY-Mark Lanspa, a 25-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, has been tapped by Wells Fargo & Co. to lead its new Hospitality Finance Group as executive vice president, the company unveiled today. Lanspa will be part of a Manhattan-based team that will focus on providing financial products and services to hotel owners across the country.

“We are thrilled to have Mark join our team,” says company head Christopher Jordan in a prepared statement. “He possesses not only a sharp intellect and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, but also the personal and stylistic qualities that are critical to the success within the Wells Fargo culture,” noting that Lanspa’s New York presence represents a “a very important enhancement” of the hotel industry’s coverage model.
