NEW YORK CITY-After garnering a $160 construction loan, progress at Edward J. Minskoff’s spec office building at 51 Astor Place is moving forward. The developer has launched a new website with renderings and information, according to Curbed. Check them out below:

The building will have a public plaza on the corner of Astor Place and Third Avenue, near the 6 train station.

In a previous interview with GlobeSt.com after closing the financing on the deal, Mark Edelstein, the New York-based chair of Morrison & Foerster’s Global Real Estate Finance Group, said that one tenant could occupy the 400,000 square-foot building or two 250,000 square-foot tenants. An unnamed source told Curbed that high-tech companies like Microsoft and IBM are looking into the site, but the information is not confirmed.
