NEW YORK CITY-Linsanity is making its way to Lower Manhattan – to Starwood’s W New York Downtown, to be exact. Fresh off his recent success on the court, New York Knicks superstar Jeremey Lin is renting a furnished 1,182-square-foot two-bedroom apartment in the building, sources told the New York Post. According to the article, the owner listed the unit for sale at $2.315 million before renting it out.
The move is a big step up from Lin’s prior living situation of crashing on his brother’s couch on the Lower East Side, which the Post says was just two weeks ago. Lin’s new downtown digs are in addition to his pad at the Trump Tower in White Plains, just outside the city.
Located at 123 Washington St. near the Hudson waterfront and the World Trade Center, rents in the building range from $3,600 to $8,900 per month according to StreetEasy, the Post said. Building amenities include a gym, a screening room, a digital lounge and a rooftop terrace.
