NEW YORK CITY-Paul J. Amrich, a 16-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, has been promoted to vice chairman at CBRE, the company unveiled on Monday. Amrich, who was promoted to executive vice president in 2008, is now the youngest vice chairman in the company and the youngest brokerage professional to achieve CBRE’s highest producer ranking.

“Paul is an exceptional brokerage professional who serves his clients with integrity and distinction,” says Matt Van Buren, president of the New York Tri-State Region at CBRE, in a statement. “His highly focused abilities have led him to forge deep relationships with a number of New York’s premier landlords, capital sources and tenants, particularly in the financial services field. He is most deserving of this promotion to vice chairman.”

Amrich focuses on landlord and tenant representation, as well as the strategic advisement of select capital sources throughout New York City. During his career at the firm, he has completed more than eight million square feet of leasing transactions.
