DALLAS-For close to $123 million, Digital Realty Trust Inc. has acquired the 819,000-square-foot data center and office campus located in Lewisville, TX, a Dallas suburb. According to the company, the office property and data facilities span 168 acres, of which 35 is still undeveloped. There are 10 buildings located on the land. Under current zoning laws, the property can support an additional 700,000 square feet of new development.

Digital says that the property is 99% leased to eight long-term tenants, and 35% of the data facilities are leased to data center tenants.

“Dallas continues to be a very strong market for us," Digital CEO Michael F. Foust says. "When combined with Datacenter Park Dallas in Richardson, located approximately 25 miles from this site, we believe that we will be able to accommodate a large majority of the data center requirements from customers seeking space in the Dallas market.”

Digital works both nationally and internationally and has a portfolio spread across 31 markets through Europe, North America, Singapore and Australia.
