CHARLOTTE—MetLife is putting its confidence in Jones Lang LaSalle to handle the leasing and management of two of its office towers. The Fairview Center One and Fairview Center Two span 181,648 square feet in Charlotte’s SouthPark submarket and both need some attention. Fairview One is about 88% occupied while Fairview Two is only 59% occupied.

JLL senior vice presidents Charley Leavitt and Charles Jonas, along with vice president Aron Whitehead and senior associate Tom FitzGerald handle the leasing. JLL general manager Sam Martin, property administrator Christine Corr and chief engineer Derek Brooks will head up management.

“The Jones Lang LaSalle team’s strategy is to retain Fairview’s current tenants and encourage growth opportunities within the buildings,” FitzGerald tells GlobeSt.com. “We also plan to revamp the buildings’ marketing campaigns and refresh the marketing strategy so they’re more relevant to current market conditions. This will allow us to reintroduce the buildings to Charlotte businesses and make brokers aware of what great spaces we have available.”
