BEVERLY HILLS, CA-International real estate investment and services firm Kennedy Wilson has acquired Meyers LLC, a real estate consultancy specializing in capital sourcing and real estate research for the single-family homebuilding industry and multifamily apartment business. The team led by Jeff Meyers will continue to operate as Meyers Research LLC, a Kennedy Wilson Company.

The new addition to Kennedy Wilson will offer such services as feasibility study, pricing and absorption strategy, highest and best-use analysis, lot-by-lot analysis, product repositioning, master-planned community evaluation, development services, absorption analysis, market and product segmentation, consumer research, case-study evaluation, portfolio strategy, opportunity assessment, supply-and-demand analysis, market monitoring, business-plan development and cash-flow analysis.

“Jeff is an incredibly talented individual whom I’ve known for 20 years, and we are so pleased to have him join the Kennedy Wilson team,” says William McMorrow, chairman and CEO of Kennedy Wilson. “The variety of capabilities and depth of experience in the industry that he and his group bring will complement and add significant value to our existing services platform.”

Meyers, principal of Meyers LLC, is regarded as the leading expert of residential trends in the real estate market. In 1985, he founded the Meyers Group, the housing industry’s largest provider of market research. The company, which expanded to 21 offices and more than 200 employees nationwide, was sold in 2004. In 2006, Meyers reassembled his consulting team and established Meyers LLC, which focuses on advisory, research and capital placement for homebuilders, developers and financial institutions.

“I am very proud to bring our team to Kennedy Wilson and believe our business will thrive in the company’s entrepreneurial environment,” says Meyers. “The company’s tremendous resources and international reach with banking relationships across all property types will allow us to grow our data and research offerings as well as make direct investments into residential projects.”

McMorrow tells GlobeSt.com that the acquisition of Meyers LLC "adds another important service capability for our company to offer to financial institution clients. As a leading provider of research services to the residential industry, Jeff Meyers also brings fantastic relationships with builders, investors and financiers to the firm.”

Kennedy Wilson offers a comprehensive array of real estate services including auction, conventional sales, property services, and investment management. Through its fund management and separate account businesses, the company is a strategic investor of real estate investments in the U.S., Europe and Japan.
