SAN FRANCISCO-Global tenant advisory firm Studley has promoted Julia Wilhelm to managing director. Wilhelm is based in the firm’s office here, where she focuses on tenant representation across a diverse array of industry sectors including financial services, law, technology and non-profit advisory. She was previously an associate director at the company.

“Julia is a most impressive young woman and a rapidly rising star in the San Francisco real estate community,” Steve Barker, EVP in Studley’s San Francisco office, tells GlobeSt.com. “She just does everything right. In our business, to be successful, you’ve got to be smart, hungry and resilient—she’s all of those things. Nobody in this market or in this office is doing everything right like Julia is.”

Wilhelm joined the company in 2007. She was the first real estate professional in San Francisco to have been awarded the LEED-Accredited Professional designation from the U.S. Green Building Council, and she is currently the West Coast head of Studley’s sustainable real estate practice group. Wilhelm is also an active member of the Financial Women’s Association of San Francisco, where she previously served on the board of directors, and she was honored in 2011 as one of the Northern California Real Estate Women of Influence.

Wilhelm has represented office lease transactions totaling over 1.5 million square feet in downtown San Francisco. Clients include SAY Media, Sideman & Bancroft and Business for Social Responsibility, as well as national and multi-national companies such as Greenberg Traurig, Shearman & Sterling, EarthLink, UbiSoft and the Nature Conservancy.
