STOCKBRIDGE, GA-Atlanta-based Ackerman Medical and Piedmont Henry Hospital are planning to start construction this summer on an $11-million physician center in Henry County. The new Henry Physician Center, which measures 60,000 square feet, resulted from the merger of Henry Medical Center and Piedmont Healthcare.

The new medical office building is almost 50% committed to practices. Ackerman has developed medical office buildings totaling 250,000 square feet in Henry County. The new project is scheduled to be opened in early 2013. For the full story, go to Atlanta Business Chronicle .
