IRVINE, CA-Faris Lee Investments has revealed that it is restructuring its executive platform and is looking to build its market share through national expansion and the addition of new talent. Those who follow @GlobeStcom on Twitter may have seen a post last week that we learned that Richard Walter was no longer serving as president of the company, but we can now confirm that Rick Chichester, previous COO of the company, adds president to his title following Walter’s departure.

Walter had been a significant part of the firm’s success during his 12-year tenure helping to position Faris Lee for its expansion. When Walter joined Faris Lee he had approximately 20 years of banking industry experience. He is now returning to that industry, which is his passion and core competency, joining Washington DC-based Promontory Financial Group LLC.

Chichester joined the firm in February 2011 as COO. With more than 29 years of strategic and operational experience, Chichester was most recently president of the North American region of Colliers International, where he was responsible for all businesses, comprised of 47 offices throughout Canada and the USA, inclusive of brokerage, property management, valuation, mortgage and project management. He consolidated all business lines into an integrated business service operation, formulated the region’s strategic vision and direction, led the acquisition process, and formed all strategic partnerships and alliances.

Underscoring the company’s intent to “follow client demand,” Faris Lee now operates in Irvine, New York, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Honolulu, and is looking to open in 15 additional markets, including Chicago, Denver, Dallas, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
