ATLANTA—Jones Lang LaSalle is on the corporate finance warpath and beating the net lease drum a little louder with its latest moves. JLL’s Capital Markets just expanded its Corporate Finance & Net Lease (CFNL) practice on the East Coast.

The expansion brings Shan Gastineau on board as managing director in Atlanta. Gastineau previously served as senior vice president with the firm's tenant representation group. Gastineau will work under the direction of managing director Guy Ponticiello to expand the firm's service to corporate and single-tenant investor clients in the eastern United States.

"Shan brings a wealth of experience to the CFNL team, having represented numerous corporate users and single-tenant investors during his career and we were first-hand witnesses to his finesse working on a recent $63 million sale-leaseback for a major Atlanta-based corporate client," Ponticiello tells GlobeSt.com. "His client list reads like a who's who of industry leaders and his expertise runs the gamut from occupier clients to investors to developers. His leadership will allow us to strategically expand our finance and net lease expertise in Atlanta and the Southeast."

Gastineau joined the Staubach Company in 2002 and transitioned to JLL when the firm merged with Staubach in 2008. Recently, Gastineau completed more than $300 million in transaction volume for occupier and investor clients and received the firm's Top Achiever award for revenue producers from 2004-2011.

Before joining Staubach, Gastineau was vice president for Atlanta-based LCI, a facilities management start-up where he was responsible for new market growth. He also helped expand LCI's three-city footprint to 24 markets in the U.S. and Canada, while exponentially growing the company revenue over a five-year period. When IKON Office Solutions purchased the company in 1996, he then served as vice president and general manager for the facilities management division in the southeast.

Katie Madson, a senior associate at JLL will join Gastineau. Madson began her career with JLL’s Valuation Advisory practice in Madrid, Spain in 2008. She has been located in the Atlanta office, also with the Tenant Representation Group, since 2009.

"Over the past year, we've significantly strengthened our Capital Markets practice here in Atlanta, hiring top performing multifamily and real estate investment banking experts to broaden our already wide ranging platform,” Mike Sivewright, Jones Lang LaSalle's Atlanta Market Director, tells GlobeSt.com. “Shan's move to Capital Markets is a natural fit for him and will do much to broaden our local expertise."
