BUFFALO, NY-The Buffalo Planning Board has cleared the first hurdle for plans to convert Tishman Building, 20-story property at 447 Main St. in downtown Buffalo, into a mixed-use complex. The city's planning board acknowledged the first part of a series of approvals required to proceed with the $41-million project.

Hilton Garden Inn, a 123-room hotel, will be housed on the first 14 floors, while floors 15 to 17 will have 18 apartments and the top three floors will be occupied by Hamister Group. For the full story, go to Buffalo Business First .
