MILWAUKEE-Wangard Partners Inc. has purchased a 3.07-acre riverside land in Shorewood for $1.5 million. Village officials said that three developers are discussing to redevelop the property with housing or retail complex.

The Shorewood property comprises a vacant land and two old apartment buildings. Wangard purchased the site from McLean, Virginia-based Sunrise Senior Living Inc. Recently, three developers approached the village officials to discuss on building apartments, retail or senior housing on the Capitol Drive property.
