IRVINE, CA-Westcore Properties, a private, entrepreneurial commercial real estate investment firm, has expanded its California focus with the opening of a new office in Orange County. The office will be located in Irvine and will be headed by Neil Johnson, managing director.
The San Diego headquartered firm has regional offices in San Francisco and Denver and has completed more than $250 million in office and industrial acquisitions in 2011—a number it expects to increase in 2012 as it “aggressively seeks new opportunities throughout the Golden State,” according to Johnson.
Johnson says that the new Orange County office “will enhance our ability to identify and move quickly on assets that meet our investment criteria within Southern California, especially in the Orange County, Los Angeles and Inland Empire regions.” Johnson, who oversees Westcore’s investment activity throughout the state, previously was based in the company’s San Francisco office.
