LAUGHLIN, NV-National real estate auction firm Accelerated Marketing Group will auction the Laughlin Bay Marina in Laughlin here in Clark County, NV in a sealed bid auction in May. Laughlin is a Las Vegas submarket town in the southern region of the state bordering Arizona and California, where economic development is about to boom, according to Accelerated Marketing Group.

Todd Good, president of Accelerated Marketing Group, tells GlobeSt.com that although he cannot guess what the site might be acquired for, “there has already been $34 million invested,” he says. He adds that the seller, a local bank, will let it go to the highest bidder over $5.5 million. “The seller is demonstrating great confidence in the vibrancy of the Laughlin market to command a sales price proportional to the projected long-term vitality of the region,” he says.

The Laughlin Marina offers the following: 8.77 total acres plus an additional 20 acres of land for a master-planned residential condominium development; Access to the Colorado River and Laughlin Lagoon; A full-service restaurant and cocktail bar; Lighted boardwalk with covered gazebos and access to RV parking area; 5,400-square-foot clubhouse featuring a swimming pool with waterfall, outdoor showers, exercise room, sauna, kitchen and banquet area, meeting room, outdoor barbecue and picnic area, and patio overlooking the lagoon and boardwalk; Three lane launch ramps and 52 mooring docks with capacity for up to 158 boat slips; Public bus and water taxi transit service to casinos, resorts, hotels, restaurant and shopping areas; a five-story 20,133-square-foot boat storage facility with indoor climate control and capacity to store up to 135 boats and jet skis; Onsite office space for management as well as an apartment for an onsite manager; and a marina service shop for fueling and wash down service.

“The marina has been a gem in this community for many years,” says David Floodman, president of Laughlin Economic Development Corp., in a prepared statement. “Homebuilding in and around the marina continues at a robust pace and will only be emboldened by ENN’s manufacturing and research presence here.”

He adds that “Laughlin is poised to become the green energy capital of the US due to the extraordinary investment from ENN. Further, with 83% of all traffic coming from California to Nevada casinos traveling along the Needles Highway in Laughlin, and both families and retirees choosing homes here, the future for the community is unquestionably among the brightest in the west.”
