SCOTTSDALE, AZ-RED Development is expanding its portfolio in the Phoenix area with the purchase of The Borgata in Scottsdale. The company has bought the 94,000-square-foot retail center from Santa Monica, California-based Macerich, the parent company of Westcor.

The Borgata retail project changed hands for $9.15 million. Various tenants, including a two-story Dolce Salon & Spa, J. Alexander's restaurant, Chico's and Blanco Tacos and Tequila, occupy space in the shopping center. For the full story, go to Phoenix Business Journal .
