PHILADELPHIA-Cushman & Wakefield has been selected to be exclusive leasing agent for 1818 Market Street, one of the best-known office structures in center city Philadelphia.
The 981,000-square-foot building at one time was Philadelphia's tallest and largest Class A downtown office building. Built in 1971, it is currently undergoing renovations and is 80% leased.
Cushman & Wakefield's leasing team is composed of Roger T. McManimon, Director, and Jack Meyers and Jason Bernardi. The owner's representative making the assignment was Daymark Properties Realty.
Recent improvements to the 37-story tower include redesign and restoration of the two-story lobby featuring solar glass, and green and white marble; new lighting and signage at the exterior entrances; and new surveillance and parking automation at the six-level, 385-space parking garage.
The structure is home to many of Philadelphia's top corporate tenants. Situated only steps from SEPTA bus stops on Market, 18th and 19th Streets, and one block from the entrance to the Philadelphia underground transportation concourse, 1818 Market Street is easily accessible for both tenants and visitors.
Cushman & Wakefield, a global commercial real estate services company, is based in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
