SAN DIEGO-US Bank has provided $124 million to the Wilf family for a construction loan for the first phase of the 1,848-unit Casa Mira View apartment complex. The units are now being built at 1195 Westview Pkwy.

Through its Garden Communities division, the Wilf family started the project in 2008, having promised the city it would repair and expand roads near the complex. This loan is for the first phase of the project, about 465 units now under construction.

According to a statement, Casa Mira will have four different styles of apartment buildings. Amenities will include a bowling alley, skate park, karaoke bar, concert state, merry-go-round, fitness center, shuttle bus service, a seniors club, a coffee shop and a resident garden. The complex is expected to be complete in 2013. A Garden official refused to comment about the site.

Garden, with properties along the East and West coast, already has nine other San Diego apartment sites, including Legacy and La Jolla Canyon. The family also owns the Minnesota Vikings football team, located not far from the Minneapolis division of US Bank that provided the loan.
