SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ-NAI James E. Hanson completed the sale of a 4,800-square-foot commercial building at 1765 East Second Street in Scotch Plains, NJ.
Serving as exclusive sales agent for the property, NAI Hanson associate Russell J. Verducci represented the owner, 1765 Realty, LLC, in the transaction. Judith Weiniger of Remax in Warren represented the buyer, Chin/Kang/Kang, which plans upgrade the site for use as doctors’ offices.
The two-story property has two 1,600 square-foot spaces, plus parking for 10 cars. The first floor has built-in waiting and reception areas, a conference room, three offices, bathrooms and a kitchenette. The finished basement also has an office, storage space and open office area. There are currently two apartments on the second floor.
"Medical is one of the few commercial real estate sectors that has remained steady," comments Verducci. "The buyer was drawn to the location of the building, which offers ample parking and access to Route 22. Additionally, it can be modified with little necessary approvals. A fair amount of work is being completed to convert the site, including the installation of an elevator."
The purchase price could not be confirmed in time for deadline.
