Towers at University Town Center to be Auctioned

HYATTSVILLE, MD-The Towers at University Town Center, a 100-acre mixed-use development in Hyattsville, will be sold at an auction.

HYATTSVILLE, MD-The Towers at University Town Center, a 100-acre mixed-use development in Hyattsville, will be sold at an auction. Tidewater Auctions LLC will sell the 910-bed student housing community at the foreclosure auction.

As stated in Maryland state assessment data, the property is valued at approximately $65 million. UTC Housing still has to pay nearly $53.1 million in debt on the center. In September 2009, the property was given to a special servicer. The student apartments are being managed by Greystar. For the full story, go to Washington Business Journal .
