SHERMAN OAKS, CA-GlobeSt.com has exclusively learned that Lee & Associates-LA North/Ventura Inc., an L.A. commercial real estate brokerage company, and Moss & Co., a property management leader in Southern California, have formed an alliance. The team will offer building owners a seamless transition from acquisition to the management of commercial properties.

Under the terms of the agreement, Lee will continue to offer brokerage services for acquisitions and dispositions as well as leasing and lease renewals, and Moss will provide property management services including rent collection, monitoring and reporting, property maintenance and asset management for clients who opt for the services.

“Establishing this relationship was an easy decision for us,” notes Cindy Gray, president of Moss. “It gives our clients added value and services with a company that is very much like our own—entrepreneurial and market centric and highly experienced.”

According to Mike Tingus, Lee’s president, “Our clients have been asking for these services, and, while we have abundant transactional expertise, we wanted to provide them with a property management company with more than 40 years of experience in the field.” He explains that “This alliance was an ideal alternative to establishing an in-house property management arm because it gives clients maximum flexibility with two companies who are first class in their respective specialties. Those who choose to can make a smooth transition to property management while continuing to rely on their existing brokerage relationships for new or ongoing needs.”

Lee is a full-service commercial real estate brokerage serving clients needs for office, industrial, retail, multifamily and investment sales and leasing in the Los Angeles North region, Ventura County and Southern California, was recently ranked the No. 2 brokerage in the San Fernando Valley and one of the Top 10 brokerage companies in Los Angeles County. Moss is a full-service property management firm, maintains a portfolio of 1.5 million square feet of commercial space including shopping centers, office and industrial buildings and storage facilities and 7,000 units of multifamily properties ranging from 30 to 500 units in Southern California and Nevada.
