LONDON-Quintain, a London-based fund manager, has arranged GBP 70 million in financing for the new iQ Shoreditch scheme. M&G Investments is financing the new Shoreditch student accommodation.
The 673-bedroom iQ Shoreditch will open this summer. It will increase the total rooms in the iQ portfolio to 5,183. These new facilities will supplement the GBP 115-million M&G senior debt facility obtained in March 2012. The iQ Fund, a joint venture of the Wellcome Trust and Quintain, secured the loan.
