KANEOHE, HI-Dck-ecc pacific guam llc was awarded a $46.6-million project from NAVFAC Hawaii to design and construct the 30,709-square-foot FY12 MILCON P-822 Marine Corps Air Station Operations Complex, 17,104-square-foot Aircraft Fire and Rescue Station, over 348,000 square feet of aircraft apron, and related site improvements at the Marine Corps Base Hawaii here. The facilities are scheduled for completion in September 2014.

According to John Fern, senior program manager for ECC, “Our team strategized throughout the proposal process to creatively incorporate value-added enhancements into our design, which significantly increases energy efficiency and reduces overall life-cycle facility costs for the Navy. We are proud to deliver state-of-the-art, sustainable, and highly functional facilities to the Marines and Sailors at MCBH.”
