PARSIPPANY, NJ-Lincoln Property Co. has signed four new lease deals at 9 Entin Road in Parsippany for a total of 78,276 square feet. “At a time when the office market continues to experience high vacancies, 9 Entin Road has gained significant momentum with the recent completion of these leases,” says Rick Genthe, who served as in-house leasing agent on the deal.

The 25-year old building at exit 40B on I-287 was been updated over the past few years, Genthe tells GlobeSt.com, including installation of a new, energy-efficient HVAC system. “When companies see they don’t have to worry about something like the HVAC, it makes the difference,” he says.

With the recent improvements, the three-story, 196,894-square-foot building also gained a new lobby entrance with a three-story atrium and glass-enclosed elevators, and an on-site cafe.

The tenant deals include:

  • Med-Metrix leased 31,157 square feet for its headquarters, relocating from Montvale. Med-Metrix provides management solutions to the Health Care industry. The company was represented by Richard Van Houten Jr. of Van Houten Corporate Realty.
  • HNTB leased 22,364 square feet, relocating from Wayne. HNTB consults on trends within the infrastructure industry. Michael Tesser and Sven Sykes of Colliers International represented the company.
  • Gallagher Bassett leased 10,060 square feet, relocating within Parsippany. The company provides property/casualty risk control consulting and appraisal services. Larry Martin of Grubb & Ellis was the broker.
  • Maverick Funding Corp. leased 14,691 square feet, also relocating within Parsippany. The mortgage lender is based in Parsippany and operates in 26 states. Maverick Funding Corp. was represented by the late Leonard Krupat and his wife Beth of The Krupat Group.

“We are honored to welcome such a distinguished group of new companies that will greatly complement our current tenants of Daiichi Sankyo and Belco DuPont,” says Genthe. His employer, Lincoln Property, has its headquarters in Dallas.
