DURHAM, NC-A newly purchased hotel in Durham will get a $7.5-million renovation. A joint venture fund including Florida-based Driftwood Hospitality Management and New York-based Apollo Global Management acquired the Hilton Raleigh-Durham Airport at Research Triangle Park hotel in April.

The renovation of the 249-hotel will include a re-design of guest rooms, meeting spaces and the lobby. The renovation work will start in July. The DoubleTree Hotel and the Sheraton Columbus Hotel at Capitol Square will also be renovated. For the full story, go to Triangle Business Journal .
