SECAUCUS, NJ–ZT Systems, a maker of servers and rack-level hardware for data centers, has taken a long-term lease for headquarters space at 333 Meadowlands Parkway. in Secaucus. The company’s expansion from a nearby facility it had outgrown was brokered by Colliers International New Jersey.

The new, 23,451-square-foot space comprises the full second floor of the six-story building. “The space at 333 Meadowlands Parkway was an ideal situation,” says Frank Lopriore of Colliers, who negotiated the new lease. “It needed very little renovation work to get it ready for ZT Systems, and it was an already familiar setting.”

The tech firm was previously headquartered at 350 Meadowlands Parkway. It will maintain space for engineering, assembly and distribution activities at that address. Founded in 1994, ZT Systems has built a client roster that includes Fortune 1000 companies, government agencies, small businesses and large Internet infrastructure companies.

“ZT Systems’ executives are pleased to be making a move to a first-class location without having to leave an exceptional locale that is easily accessible to the area’s major highways and airports,” says Lopriore. John Osborne of Bergman Real Estate Group represented the ownership of 333 Meadowlands Parkway in the transaction.

The low-rise building is part of the Harmon Cove office park. A $2 million improvement program was recently completed at the building.

Panasonic, which has plans to build a new headquarters in Newark, is a tenant of the office park. Other tenants include MSNBC, International Paper and PSE&G.

The property is situated off the Exit 15X interchange of the New Jersey Turnpike and near the Secaucus Junction Train Station.
