Digital Realty Pays $12M for Data Center

AUSTIN-The San Francisco buyer adds the 62,000-SF, 100% net-leased data facility to its portfolio.

AUSTIN-Digital Realty Trust Inc. of San Francisco acquired a 62,237-square-foot data center facility for $12.5 million. The Travis County Assessment District identifies the center’s seller as Woo-Norwood LLC of New York City.

The center, built in 1995, is at 8025 N. Interstate 35. The transaction included an additional 11.28 acres adjacent to the building that can support up to 135,000 square feet of data center space.  At one time, the building was leased by Inflow Inc., which invested more than $15 million during its tenure to convert the building into a data network exchange.
