Vaccine
Yesterday, GlobeSt.com reported that the SelectLeaders Job Network, which includes most of the major associations and organizations that serve the real estate industry, introduced a powerful leadership assessment tool that will provide "change vaccine" for real estate professionals. The vaccine is an evaluation of an individual's decision-making styles, thinking styles, and leadership characteristics. The assessment report provides a road map for understanding what makes you tick, how to leverage your strengths, and guard against weaknesses that can undermine one's ability to succeed in an organization. This tool was developed by Korn/Ferry International and is based on the company's Lominger Leadership Architect Suite. I bring this to your attention because I observe every day that professionals often do not achieve their full potential, or even worse, fail due to issues other than technical job performance. It's the "soft" stuff that often makes or breaks one's success within an organization. I strongly recommend that you visit the SelectLeaders Job Network and get a shot of vaccine. It will help to prevent a bad bout of career flu.
