AUSTIN-HonestBuildings.com, a new online network detailing comprehensive information about commercial real estate and mixed-use buildings, rolled out its platform to include 95,000 buildings in the Lone Star State. As of today, users logging onto the website can access a database of information about local buildings, as well as those in Dallas and Houston.

"We have information about any building in the US that has an address," explains Josh Boltuch, HonestBuildings.com's head of marketing. He says information about buildings is obtained in various ways such as through municipal databases, user-generated content and proprietary partnerships with real estate developers, brokers and nonprofits. The information included on each commercial real estate and residential building includes age, square footage, renovations, LEED certification, ENERGYSTAR ratings and photos.

HonestBuildings.com has gone live with information in East and West Coast cities; Texas is the first "interior" state in which the co-located New York City/Seattle, WA company is rolling out its platform. "Texas is an important market," Boltuch explains. "We felt it important we start highlighting regions other than the East and West Coasts and it was high time we started hitting the south and southwest."
