WOODBRIDGE, NJ-Seven new and renewed leases for more than 38,000 square feet have been secured by Newmark Grubb Knight Frank at Woodbridge Corporate Plaza in Iselin.

The leases at the complex, located at 485 Route 1 South, are for various tech, pharmaceutical, and law firms. ReSearch Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. signed for the largest space, 15,715 square feet.

"Woodbridge Corporate Plaza is located in one of the region’s prime office submarkets, and we see continued lively interest in its availabilities,” says Jamie Drummond of NGKF’s East Rutherford team, which arranged the transactions. The six-building campus is situated a half-mile from the Metropark Train Station and 15 minutes from Newark Liberty International Airport, not far from the intersection of three interstate highways.

KBS Realty Advisors, the building’s ownership, was represented by David Simson, vice chairman of NGKF New Jersey operations; Michael Staskiewicz and Michael Marchese, all of the real estate services firm's Rutherford, NJ office, in addition to Drummond.

The new leases are for:

  • ReSearch Pharmaceutical Services, 15,715 square feet. Newmark Knight Frank Smith Mack represented the tenant.
  • GFI Group, 10,500 square feet. The tenant was represented by CBRE.
  • Stern & Eisenberg PC, 2,477 square feet. NGKF represented the tenant.

The renewals were:

  • BioCon Limited, 2,000 square feet lease extension. The tenant was represented by the Garibaldi Group.
  • SOA Software, Inc., 2,100 square feet renewal.
  • Indegene Pharmaceutical Solutions, 4,055 square feet renewal.
  • Swift Solutions, Inc., 1,208 square feet renewal.

Headquarters tenants at the Woodbridge complex include Maidenform and Geodis Wilson USA; BNP Paribas, Bank of Tokyo, Progressive Insurance and TJX Companies (parent of TJ Maxx) also have offices at the plaza.
