Hub Group To Break Ground for New HQ

OAK BROOK, IL-The transportation firm will see a new 130,000-square-foot office headquarters going up, replacing the former Reed building here.

OAK BROOK, IL-The Hub Group, a transportation management firm, is building a 130,000-square-foot new headquarters complex here at York Road and Clearwater Drive. The company, which received incentives from the city for the project, plans to consolidate employees from the current Downers Grove, IL HQ and other locations, and has promised to occupy the new building for at least five years.

The site at 2000 Clearwater Dr. is that of the former 200,000-square-foot Reed Elsevier building, the parent of LexisNexis, which was the anchor tenant at the site. The company had occupied about 70,000 square feet, but has since consolidated to about half that space at Highland Pointe I in Lombard, IL location.
