PARAMUS, NJ-The Goldstein Group retail brokerage firm is reporting a strong record of leases with national and regional tenants locating in New Jersey so far this year. Goldstein president Chuck Lanyard says the overall retail market in the state is on an “upward trend.”

Goldstein Group reports these leases signed recently with national and regional tenants:

• Harbor Freight Tools, a discount tool retailer, opened two new stores: a 25,000-square-foot store at 2438 Route 22 in Union; and a 17,000-square-foot store at 1016 Main Ave. in Clifton. Lanyard represented owners in both cases.

• AT&T renewed a lease of 8,000 square feet at 1592 Route 22 in Watchung. Lanyard represented the landlord.

• IHOP renewed its 5,000-square-foot lease at 32nd Street & Kennedy Boulevard in Union City. Goldstein principal Neil Goldstein represented both the retailer and landlord.

• Pet Valu took leases of 4,000 square feet at Route 202 and Reaville Road in Flemington and 3,200 square feet at the Marketplace at Edgewater in Edgewater. Goldstein arranged both leases for the pet products retailer.

• Blimpie signed a 1,700-square-foot lease at 130 Market Street in Paterson. The team of Donald Goldstein and Florian Suserman represented the tenant and the owner.

• Kumon took 1,200 square feet at The Mews at Garwood in Garwood. Ryan Glastein represented the owner.

• Edible Arrangements signed for 1,100 square feet at 84 Summit Ave. in Summit. Suserman represented both sides in the transaction

• Allstate leased 1,000 square feet at 25 W. Northfield Rd. in Livingston, with Jesse Finkelstein representing the landlord.

• That Look leased 2,300 square feet at 500 Chestnut Ridge Rd. in Woodcliff Lake. Finkelstein represented both sides.

• Furniture Source signed for 18,200 square feet at 6531-6571 Route 9 in Howell. Mark Handwerker represented the retailer and the owner.

• Bar Method took 3,500 square feet at 576-580 N. Maple Ave. in Ridgewood. Ryan Glastein represented both sides in the transaction.

• Beauty Castle leased 1,400 square feet at State Plaza in Teaneck. C.J. Huter represented both sides.

• True Blue Employment opened a 1,300-square-foot store at 2290 Route 22 in Union. Matt Flath represented the retailer.
