LOS ANGELES-So far as online real estate news is concerned, GlobeSt.com is the overwhelming favorite among industry management level people in the metro Los Angeles area, according to a new survey disclosed today. The survey was released by 50-year-old public relations firm Lewis & Associates to some 500 developers, brokers, architects, general contractors and related disciplines.
The question posed by the survey was: “If you only had one media choice where your company’s news story could appear in the Los Angeles area, which one of the following would it be: print, broadcast or online?” says PR agency president N. Richard Lewis.
Approximately 65% of the survey’s recipients selected GlobeSt.com as their primary source for online real estate news. In the print category, 62 % chose the Los Angeles Times as the preferred publication for general business news, Lewis says.
In terms of broadcast, most recipients didn’t comment or specify a favorite.
Lewis adds that 65% of the respondents were over 50 and the remainder under 50. “We assume a margin error of 3% to 5% percent.”
