LOS ANGELES-GlobeSt.com exclusively learns that Carl Muhlstein, vice chairman of capital markets at Cushman & Wakefield of California in the firm’s Downtown Los Angeles office is moving to Jones Lang LaSalle.

Neither JLL nor C&W had a comment or any further details by deadline, and Muhlstein did not respond to inquiries, but we have received confirmation from multiple sources that today is his last day at C&W.

A 25-year veteran of the L.A. CRE scene, Muhlstein has closed well over 10 million square feet of sales and leasing transactions since 2000. He's a senior member of C&W's downtown L.A. office and has been regarded as one of the firm's top-producing broker nationally. In 2004, he was recognized by C&W as the top brokerage professional in the Western US.

Check back to GlobeSt.com for more details to soon follow.
