WORCESTER, MA-Michael V. O'Brien, Worcester City Manager, said that a group of investors is planning for a project that will provide a hotel and nearly 350 apartments in downtown Worcester. The Worcester Telegram & Gazette reported that O'Brien did not reveal the identity of the investors.

CitySquare, situated in downtown Worcester, formerly accommodated the Worcester Common Outlets Mall. Hanover Insurance Group Inc. purchased nearly half of the property in 2010 from Berkeley Investments. For the full story, go to Boston Business Journal .
